Dear volunteers in the field of hospice and palliative care, dear coordinators of hospice teams, On May 25th an international symposium on volunteers as part of the 16th EAPC World Congress will be held.
We are very excited about this wonderful opportunity and encourage especially volunteers/volunteer coordinators from Eastern and Southern European countries to participate.

Please note:
- The admission to the symposium is free.
- Lunch at the symposium will be free.

- For 25 volunteers of Eastern European countries we can offer a reimbursement of travel costs (flight, train, bus, accomodation) up to €200,00 per person. - Should there be less than 25 participants of Eastern European countries, we will distribute the rest of the money evenly among the others. – Should you plan to travel by car, please contact us.
- For reimbursement we will need the original receipts, so you can only apply after the symposium. Anna Pissarek will be at the symposium and distribute the form sheets to apply for the reimbursement. Please contact her also before the symposium via email

- Should there be many participants from one country and at the same time many countries, we might have to limit the refunding to a certain number of people per country, f.ex. 2-3/country.
